Pink Paloma with Mezcal Campante | Mezcalogy Series

Welcome back to another Mezcal Monday on Mezcal Buzz! Today, we’re mixing up a Pink Paloma, a refreshing twist on the classic Paloma, featuring Mezcal Campante. If you love mezcal cocktails, this one’s for you!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Mezcal Campante (or your favorite mezcal)
  • 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup (or agave syrup)
  • Grapefruit soda (for topping)
  • Sal de gusano (worm salt) & Tajín (for rim)
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the rim: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass, then dip it into a mix of sal de gusano and Tajín.
  2. Muddle & Mix: In a shaker, combine fresh grapefruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup (or agave syrup), and mezcal.
  3. Shake it up: Add ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the shaker frosts.
  4. Pour & Top: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice.
  5. Top with grapefruit soda for that perfect fizz.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge, serve, and enjoy!
